Interactive story games have always been a staple for players who enjoy narrative-driven experiences, and the second quarter of 2024 has shown some interesting trends in the UK market. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Episode - Choose Your Story, a long-standing favorite, saw its downloads decrease from 15K in the first week of April to 7.8K by late June. Weekly active users showed a peak of nearly 43K in early June, but there was a general downward trend, ending the quarter at around 31K.

Fusebox Games' Love Island: The Game experienced a more positive trajectory with a significant jump in revenue, hitting 77K in mid-June from its starting point of 26K at the beginning of April. Downloads peaked at 19K in the same period, and weekly active users reached a high of nearly 49K, up from around 27K at the start of the quarter.

Crazy Maple Studio, Inc.'s Chapters: Interactive Stories maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, ranging from 31K to 43K. Downloads, however, decreased, starting at 1.8K and dipping to 800 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a decline from 19K to 12K over the same period.

Love and Deepspace, a newer entry from INFOLD PTE. LTD., had a fluctuating revenue profile, with a notable spike to 43K in the last week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to end the quarter at around 14K.

Finally, Pixelberry Studios' Choices: Stories You Play showed consistent revenue, with a slight uptick to 24K by late June. Downloads remained fairly constant, hovering around 1K throughout the quarter, while weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 26K to just over 20K.
